Our escape rooms are an absolute blast for every party — we get it. But you might not be able to make it out to Nashville, Tennessee, to experience our apocalyptically fun, heart-pounding, code-cracking, mind-bending race against time escape room experience — and that’s okay, too. So, if you find yourself in an escape room, even if it’s not ours, here are a few of the “golden rules” you can follow to have a great time. And if you are heading into Tennessee, schedule one of our five escape room experiences today!
You Are Not Locked In
There’s an initial moment of panic: the lights go down, and the tumblers on the door click shut. You’re in this thing for real. Well, kind of. Though the main purpose of an escape room is to escape, you’re not truly locked into that room. If you need to get out, you can have an attendant let you out. And like with any of our own Nashville escape rooms, there are always emergency exits.
No Phones
Phones are more than capable of spoiling the fun of not just our themed escape rooms, but any themed escape room. For this reason, many of our counterparts will ask that you hand in your phone before the start of your heart-pounding escape.
You Will Be Timed
Every escape room experience, from your Houdini to your haunted cabins will be timed — no question. Time is one of the motivating factors in every escape room. Most games have a 60-minute deadline to keep things moving along at a tight clip.
Handle Props Safely
They might be realistic, and they might be well-made, but props are still props. We encourage all of our escapees to handle props safely, as they take time and careful attention to detail to build so they fit in with our fun, themed adventures.
Are you ready to brave the apocalypse? How about you confront some demons of your own in our asylum? So long as you know these four cardinal rules to escape rooms, you’re set up for a great time, whether you escape… or otherwise.
